Roseland Family Bios

 

Cyd is fresh out of college with a degree in psychology, specifically animal psychology. He was a real celebrity on SSU campus after publishing his sensational dog training guide. With worldwide attention for establishing an entirely new dog training technique came plenty of money, enough to get him a small condo in Pleasantview with a room especially for Porthos. But for all that attention, Cyd has indulged in almost none of it. Can he find a life outside of his four-legged friend?

 

Cyd Roseland

Degree: Psychology

Cyd isn’t a knowledge sim interested in the pursuit of learning, he’s simply a geek. He’s all about the latest series of Sim Trek but sit him down and ask him to work in a lab… not gonna happen. He’d like to make some friends to talk about his favourite shows, but he’s not very good at sim-to-sim interaction, animals are so much easier. Dogs, cats, even ocean creatures. Cyd is safest and happiest dealing with animals.

 

Porthos Roseland

Personality: Aries

Half faithful companion, half emotional support dog, Porthos is Cyd’s partner and best friend. He’s unusually intelligent for a dog, and he’s determined to use it for good. Helping Cyd in anyway he can is Porthos’ goal, be it through earning money, finding him a friend, or just letting Cyd pet him. He owes it to the guy for hiding him in his dorm room for a year.

 

Gavigan Family Bios

 

Nathan always wanted to move out of Belladonna Cove, and after years of asking and asking Mary agreed for the sake of all three of them. But the cost of moving - and Nathan’s refusal to get a job until his dream one comes up in the paper-has left them almost bankrupt. Mary misses her old job working at the garage, and Isaiah misses his friends. Will this move really turn out to be for the best?

 

Mary Gavigan

Mary has always had a passion for tinkering. Fixing up old cars has become a hobby and a source of income. Or it had… before they moved. Now they can’t even afford an old junk car to fix up. She’s sacrificed her own passions for the sake of making Nathan happy, in the hopes that the move really will transform them and she’ll feel something for the new him. They have to make this work, for themselves and their son. 

 

Nathan Gavigan

Nathan always wanted to move out of Belladonna Cove. Most people dream of moving to the city but growing up there watching ships come and go all the time he only ever dreamed of getting away. Sure the suburbs have fewer cars to fix but Mary seems to be okay with the move! Now if he could only get his dream job… he didn’t move out here to continue being a wannabe athletic star in a different place.

 

Isaiah Gavigan

Personality: 5/5/3/8/4, Taurus, Gaming Hobby

Isaiah Gavigan, Sofia Baldwin, Tina Traveller. Three names to strike fear into the hearts of Belladonna Cove’s teachers. Or at least they were, until Tina’s dad announced he wanted to see the world outside the Cove and Isaiah’s father was inspired to chase a similar dream. Now close enough to visit on the weekends but not able to see each other every day, the trio miss each other dearly. Sofia calls regularly, but Isaiah really misses his friends and nobody at the Pleasantview school will talk to him about video games…
